Krasniqi: Still No Place for Joy - We Must Be Watchful

Infectologist Valbon Krasniqi in an interview for Online Economy has indicated that an analysis of the epidemiological situation should be made and that the level of testing should be seen in the country.

“We need to look closely at the situation with the pandemic at the level of the country, I think that the government authorities should, along with relevant field experts, sit down and do a literal analysis of the situation from the beginning of the pandemic to the present day, see the level of testing that has been conducted at the level of our country”.

Krasniqi says the number of active cases and cases laid out at the Infective Clinic should be taken into account for the ease of measures.

“Should be considered carefully even active cases which are still the number of contact cases on the field, so there are some very important parameters that need to be taken to base, I believe authorities will take these parameters and on their basis be assessed.

It's very important because I'm a klinist and I'm posing the clinical parameter, what that means, should be seen and analyse the eventual number of patients who need to lie in the clinic or in case of mass softening, the eventual number of infected persons who would eventually seek medical treatment”.

But which Krasniqi expresses optimistic, as according to him, with the situation in recent days these parameters are being met.

But he says it's time for relaxation and further need to respect medical experts' recommendations.

This parameter is also good at now in favor of easing the measures, but there is still no room for joy prematurely, we need to be alert and we need to continue with respect to measures in the sense of preventing spread of pandemic”.
