Israeli scientist Gabby Sarus has discovered a very fast test of COVID-19, which produces a positive or negative result in less than a minute, and even in 20 seconds, Israeli media report.
In a statement by Ben Gurion University in Israel, it is said that this testing device must initially be approved, a process that lasts two to three months.
The production of the test could begin in September or October.
It is estimated that a device can produce the results of 4,500 tests per day if one test is estimated to take 20 seconds.
The main device will cost around $400,000, each test $ 40 to $50, predicts Professor Sarus.
So far, the test has shown 90 percent accuracy and has been tested in a sample of 120 Israelites, of whom 45 percent were infected with coronary and 55 percent healthy.
