Illegally opening coffee restaurants, police react

Kosovo police are continuing to monitor the respect of measures to further spread COVID-19's disease across the country's entire territory.

In 20 different cases, there have been 25 persons who have been detained for failing to comply with health provisions during the epidemic.

What is noted is that a considerable number of these cases, exactly 9 of them, have to do with the illegal opening of restaurants and cafes.

In the village of Stanofc of the Low municipality of Vushtrri has been arrested and suspected Kosovo female woman, who from the police unit has been found inside a bar working and serving drinks. The suspect has not respected the government's decision, which has been initiated the case subject, and the same after interview with the prosecutor's order has been released in regular procedure.

On the path “Ali Gashi” in Skenderaj police during patrols have noted that a coffee shop and two restaurants at two derivative pumps have worked contrary to government decisions. For these three cases, cases have been initiated in consultation with the guardian prosecutor.

Even in Dragash a Kosovo male has been arrested for opening the restaurant in opposition to the Health Ministry's decision. The suspect following the prosecution's decision-making initiative has been released in regular procedure.

In Pristina magistrates Gnjilan two Kosovars have been arrested because they had opened the same restaurant in opposition to the Health Ministry's decision. The suspects following the initiative of the prosecutor's decision case have been released in regular procedure.

A Kosovo male has also been arrested on the B road in the capital because the same one had opened the restaurant in opposition to the government's decision.

In Pristina, on the path “Ali Vitita” two Kosovo males have been arrested for two different cases after opening their restaurants.
