Albania's President Ilir Meta has called for an international investigation into the collapse of the National Theatre in Tirana, under which it has been illegally done, and while calling on the Alliance as the protest organiser, that “will not respond to violence by force”.
“strongly supports an international investigation into unconstitutional, illegal and anti-European destruction of the National Theatre. I am ready to co-operate with the Alliance for Theatre Protection, as well as with every European and international institution for Culture. Europe and the democratic world are realizing what's going on here. Do not respond to violence by violence, but with confidence in Democracy and its triumph on Taliban and oligarchy”, President Meta said. /rtsh
