Headship Member and MP PDK, Enver Hoxhaj, says his party distances and is clearly against the exchange of territories between Kosovo and Serbia.
He in an interview for Rtv Ora he denies this to be also President Thaci's agenda, as opposed to the following, has been charged by Kurti and Haradinaj.
The latter, according to him, have soaked up this aunt because they wanted to escape dialogue with Serbia and not take responsibility.
“We like the PDK have been clear, territorial exchange is not a solution. In 2020 this is neither the agenda of President Thaci nor anyone in Kosovo. But all those who fear dialogue have not had the courage to take responsibility for the dialogue, either Prime Minister Kurti or Prime Minister Haradinaj in the past, on the grounds that the epilogue could be that, have made efforts to avoid dialogue. Our approach is that we will have to dialogue with Serbia, we will have to negotiate the best possible for Kosovo, see what the final outcome of the agreement will be, and then it is up to the Kosovo Assembly to say yes or no to such an agreement. But promoting fear as politics in relation to dialogue has greatly damaged Kosovo”, Hoxhaj has declared.
Viewing Kosovo sovereign and independent a political heritage of the PDK, Hoxhaj is firm when he says Kosovo's statehood should be closed with borders and territory 2008.
Our “position has been clear in 2018, we need to complete Kosovo's statehood with these borders, this territory that we started in 2008. It is the political heritage of the PDK, sovereign and independent Kosovo. It is in the interest of Kosovo that the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue be extended, have measurable expectations, sign an agreement and not buy time. A country's delayed achievements are not achievements. If Kosovo were to join the UN after 20 years of declaring independence, it would not be a literal achievement. If the deal isn't good, it doesn't mean we have to. But Kosovo- Serbia is like a kind of ending the history of hostility between Albanians and Serbs in the Balkans”, he has said.
