(6 years ago)Ambassador Richard Greenell's spokesman, Dick Cusstin, declared today that Grenelli will remain the US president's special envoy in dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina following information that he is withdrawing from the ambassador's position in Berlin. He expects the dialogue to continue as soon as possible after the formation of the [...] government ends.
“He expects dialogue to continue as soon as it ends forming the Kosovo government”, said Custin, responding to Tanjug's question whether the decision would in any way affect his role as a special trumpet emissar in the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue.
Richard Green confirmed earlier today that he will leave the position of American ambassador to Germany.
He wrote “The truth” on his Twitter, thus responding to the post of “Daily Wire” that he would leave the ambassador's post.
In addition to the ambassador's position, Grenelli temporarily carried out the task of chief of duty to all American security services.
