“Greece expects tourists from abroad starting on June 15th”, Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis said, a decision to prevent economic collapse.
The head of the Greek government said most flights to Greece will resume from July 1st, when seasonal hotels will reopen and 2-week quarantine for foreigners will no longer be in force. Similarly, he added that only visitors from states will be allowed, where the Pandemia Covid-19 features low levels.
Meanwhile, tourists from high-freaked countries are banned.
“We will win the economic battle just as we have won that health”, Mitsotakis said, warning that the financial impact from the coronary will be great.
Tourists will be allowed to enter Greece without a coronary test or quarantine. Tourism Minister Haris Theoharis said health officials will run tests when requested.
Greece has confirmed 2,878 cases, while 171 deaths have been recorded. /tch
