Tuesday's agreement, confirmed by the official, comes after a clash on how quickly the measures must be eased, which have helped Germany to remain with less negative report than other countries in Europe in terms of deaths from corruption.
Under the new agreement, public gatherings by up to 10 people will be allowed from June 6th, the official has announced.
Chancellor Angela Merkel had initially suggested extending the social distance rule, which requires people to stay apart from each other at least 1. 5-meter distance, until 5 July, with the leader fearful of a second wave of cases.
Germany so far has 8372 deaths -- less than Italy, Spain, France and Britain -- and the first relief of the measures appears to have caused no outbreaks of new cases.
