The three organisations representing the interests of the private sector, signatories of this statement, believe that with the aim of easing the negative effects on the operations of hit companies and employees, the government in office must implement overall and as soon as possible all measures by the Fiscal Emergency Package.
O E K, OECAK and KIE stress that due to limited measures within the country, but also in regional and international chains of supplies to many production companies operating in Kosovo are facing numerous difficulties, while a number of them have also cut off their full activity. These difficulties are also related to the decline in demand both at home and abroad in the case of export companies. The decline in the revenues of these companies makes it more difficult to cover operational spending, including wages, and thus risks reducing the pay to employees or even shutting down the country's trade deficit.
To support export companies, even few in number, the Ministry of Finance and Transferences must immediately start with implementing the number 13 move for the support of exporters in Kosovo, for what is required by MEPTINIS to urgently launch the consultancy process with MFT, K. IESA, ATK, Dogan and economic options for setting criteria for providing support to exporters from Kosovo, as envisioned with the operational plan for implementing the Fiscal Emergency Pack.
The delay in the loss of 10m euros to exporters will minimize their potential impact on the economy due to the loss of damage to these companies, which have played a valuable role in the country's economic development, under the many barriers they have faced, and with numerous prejudices associated with the poor perception of Kosovo.
In the end, the Kosovo Economic Oda, the American Economic Oda in Kosovo and the Council of European Investors, reflecting once again the need for quick action, reiterate their sincere commitment to constructive partnership with the government in office.
