The European Union's special emissary for Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak, is constantly in touch with the relevant partners to hear prospects in order to start negotiations.
So it has revealed in an answer to Kosovo's Klan, EU Foreign Affairs Policy and Security spokesman Peter Stano.
He adds, however, that the time and pace of dialogue between official Pristina and Belgrade does not depend solely on the European Union.
The timing, agenda and pace of dialogue do not depend only on the EU, but are formed together with both sides and their ability to reconcile.
Regarding Kosovo President Hashim Thaci's comments that there is no will to dialogue in negotiations, which are led by Miroslav Lajcak, the EU says:
We have no comment on Mr. Thaci”
