Dyosh: We're running late.

Acting Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports Vlora Dymoi, despite disagreements from a part of the arts and architecture professionals for the site where the construction of the concert hall is scheduled, has declared that once it clarifys the issues of decision and procedures with the municipality of Pristina, construction of this hall will begin.

The concert hall has been decided to build at the building that used to be the home of goods “Grmia”, and which is now the Kosovo Tax Administration.

Dumosh in an interview for Kosova Prees, says they are late with the construction of this hall, as the capital lacks such a hall.

This day we are with the Pristina municipality, where we have asked the complete historian of the decision and procedures, and once we clarify with the municipality of Pristina, we will begin, the tender will be issued for construction. It is very necessary for the country, some way a capital does not have a concert hall that is very necessary. We're too late, but pray that with the municipality of Pristina we can communicate well, we can communicate right... This project I believe is called and named Ibrahim Rugova and has the place, in 2004 is the parcel”, Dumosh concluded.

She says that during this time of pandemic, together with other cultural institutions, they have created an agenda where cultural activities are available through television and social networks so that families can spend this time more easily.

The acting minister, Doshori, also talks about building the Opera and Ballet Theatre.

Of course it's one of my goals. Now without bypassing others, of course, the opera and ballet hall, which is planned in the ministry's budget for many years. Otherwise, the Pristina municipality has decided that the new concert hall will be at the building that used to be the house of goods “Grmia”, the first house of goods in the city and which is now the Kosovo Tax Administration, lies in the location where a concert hall is scheduled to be built.

This decision was rejected through an online petition in support of defence and for preventing the destruction of the Germia building.
