A 26-year-old man has found death today in the quarantine located in Pristina. We express condolences and share the pain with the deceased's family.
This tragic case at the Center of Students, which is serving as a quarantine zone, should serve as a lesson for state - care bodies in the management of pandemic. This mass has already lost its object. Foreign arrivals are not massive, while the virus is only in every municipality in Kosovo. Self - control at home should be opportunities for symptoms. Karantina is already more serious with the consequences.
There must be an independent investigation regarding today's tragic case, and the truth must be dawned quickly. If media reports on the health problems the deceased has documented are confirmed, that is the government's direct responsibility. There are also many witnesses who tell of the absurdity of this measure. The permission of many within the room loses the effect of isolation, irregularities on the deployment and release of it must be subject to investigation as well.
Today's victim was officially under state care. It's the state that's locked him in quarantine, he has to answer. It would be minimal that the VV would look into the opposition. Political responsibility requires the immediate resignation of Minister Vitita, to see the eventual violations and implications the investigative process then provides.
The Assembly should be put into action as soon as possible to take the necessary legal steps for fighting pandemic. First, a completion of the Law on Prevention of Influencing Diseases needs to be made so that we can get out of the unconstitutional state. The country also needs budgetary relocations for various social levels that the pandemic has forced to stop, while financial support is not available. Kosovo is already late in undertaking economic measures.
