Blerta Deliu-Codra, deputy from the ranks of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, after completing the European Integration Commission's meeting, has said that the European integration process is not the only one government, but is the long process of governments in a row.
She stressed that, at this stage, Kosovo needs a government that works for rule of law, which fulfills obligations in relation to the Stabilisation and Association Agreement and other processes.
The process of European integration is not the only one government, it is the long process of governments which have begun and are part of the integration process, but also visa liberalisation, of course it is very important that the government whatever it is to have its complete legitimacy and be in place to carry out its duties. I'm saying a government that doesn't have a legitimateity that can hardly move the integration agenda. Kosovo at this stage most needs a government that works on rule of law that fulfills the obligations we have made in relation to the Stabilisation and Association Agreement and other processes that help citizens of the Republic of Kosovo”, Deliu said.
Deliu before the media said that at today's meeting of this commission, they have also discussed the Judiciary and Prosecutorial Council report.
Today's <x0kom meeting has been invited by the chairman of the commission to discuss the Judiciary and Prosecutorial Council report, always trying to maintain the authority of these independent institutions which are particularly challenging these last days and we have discussed in privacy this report, we have also discussed a report that the Commission for Integration has asked the minister of Integration concerning the pandemic and how many EU states have helped Kosovo during this phase of pandemia”, she said.
