Germany has confirmed 460 new cases with COVID-19 over the past 24 hours, with a total count of 177,212, the Robert Koch Institute said on Friday, Reuters reports, broadcast news.net.
The death toll has increased from 27 to 8,117 people within the same time period.
A day earlier, the country confirmed 745 new cases and 57 deaths.
More than 159,000 COVID-19 patients have been recovering in Germany since the beginning of the explosion, news broadcast.net.
The World Health Organization announced the outbreak of COVID-19 a pandemic on 11 March.
So far, more than 5.1 million people have been infected with coronarys worldwide, with over 332,000 deaths, according to Johns Hopkins University.
