However, according to the “portal Local”, Sweden is currently not working on when the first cases in the country appeared.
The agency released the communiqué after France announced that a man was infected with the virus in the country on December 27th, days before the first cases in China were reported.
The patient was then diagnosed with pneumonia, but samples taken before have now been renovated and proved positive in the coronary.
The man has fully recovered, and he is reportedly unaware of how he was infected.
Swedish epidemiologist Anders Tegnel says it is possible to have been infected in Sweden at the time.
There was no spread outside Vuhan until it later emerged in Europe, but I think we can find individual cases among travellers from Vuhan, who have been there in November and December last year. That doesn't sound weird at all, but it's quite natural”, Tegnel said.
The first officially confirmed case of the choreography in Sweden is a woman to whom the virus was confirmed on January 31st, after her return from China and who has already recovered.
