Citizens welcome the beginning of the second phase for easing anti-cornavirus measures

Tomorrow begins the second phase of release of measures, which is said to be the largest opening of the country's economy. On Monday, with the government's decision in office, after more than two months, hairliggers and indulges, dentists and physical therapists, retail merchants [...]

Why many of these activities will continue working tomorrow, the same are not informed by competent institutions how they will operate.

The director of the bus station in Pristina, Luan Hoti, told Kosova Prees that they are willing to continue the job, but he expresses criticism of the government, since, as he says, they are not aware of what the particular” implies.

I have not received anything official from competent institutions regarding the second measure of reliefs to be made. I'm getting these from different sources, especially the media. We as companies, bus station, are unaware of what special permission means and we have dilemmas on what it means... We continue the way we have continued so far. We are half operational since the 13th day of March, and tomorrow can be a regular work day, we will have the fixed number of workers, who will work when we have the flow of buses”, he said.

Meanwhile, the same shows that tomorrow will start work by 8: 00 p.m., why are they not informed about how many travelers will be allowed on buses, and other regulations included in the second relief phase of the masses?

Many events from tomorrow will continue to work, preparations have begun Sunday. So why the gastronomial sector includes service only “take it with you”, during the day coffee has been seen in the capital getting ready for continued work.

Citizens who are equipped with masks and gloves are rarely seen, even though health institutions continue to call on the latter to be equipped with them as part of the protection against the spread of the coronary.

Kosovo Police Media spokesperson Daut Hoxha told Kosovo Press that over the past 24 hours two persons have been detained for disrespect of anti-protection measures COVID-19.

“As far as the situation on the ground under the Kosovo Police is concerned, we have accepted information that in the last 24 hours, we have only recorded two cases connecting to non-action on health provisions during the epidemic. We have a case in the Gjilan region and one in the North Mitrovica region. Gradually, citizens have become aware and realised that the measures taken by health authorities and those police are aimed at preserving their health”, Hoxha said.

By the beginning of the pandemic, Kosovo police officers have worked from 12 hours a day. Kosovo Police spokesman says no decision has been made yet as to whether or not this schedule will last, as the second relaxed phase of the measures begins tomorrow.

“Even at this moment, we are in the process of implementing the pre-defined plan until this stage. And of course, after taking new recommendations and entering into force of the new phase, other decisions will be reviewed. And all decisions will be made to complete the plans in the process, and in the best of implementing the most effective and efficient of this” plan, he said.

By tomorrow, you'll be allowed out twice a day by two hours, according to the previous personal ID number. To that end, incumbent Albin Kurti has said that any movement is reasonable only if necessary.

However, the movements are numerous on the streets of the capital, both walking and driving.

Blerim Krasniqi, a resident in Pristina, says he is respecting the government's decisions, and the exits on the previous schedule.

We're trying, even though this lasted, but we have to fight the virus to the maximum and we have to respect the measures. Even though I think that next week the movement will begin to ease. So we will be alert and cautious and respect the masses, hopefully the virus will be out of space. It's all up to us to be disciplined”, he says.

Despite saying that these measures should be respected, citizen Ismajl Jashanica shows that the issue of pandemic has increased.

The real masquerade is that for the sake of the population, I'm not saying anything, but I think it's grown a little. There have been diseases before, we need to be on guard. But to be respected, it's always necessary because it's for our own good, for the people”, Jasanica said.

Although not equipped with masks and gloves, fellow citizen Halil Gashi is saying he is respecting the schedule of the movement.

And I respect my decisions by the government. I don't mind, it's good they let people work out from tomorrow to work a little bit, there's nothing if we just hang out... I'm out from 12 to 30, to 2 and 3”, he said.

And after two months of forced rest because of pandemic, some of the businesses have begun opening doors for customers.

Kosovo Tax Administration data shows that more than 1,600 people have claimed to have remained unemployed during the pandemic. But this number is allegedly larger, as much of it has not been declared by companies. There are tens of thousands of others who have worked on the informal market.

Kosovo has 978 Corleone cases, out of them 713 healed and 29 cases with a fatal outcome.
