China has not only dismissed the allegations of US President Donald Trump and Secretary of State Mike Pompeii regarding the origin of COVID-19, but also denied them.
“We advise American politicians to stop using such rhetoric to deceive people and avoid discrediting themselves”, has said Zhao Lijian, spokesperson for the Foreign Ministry in China, broadcasts news.
The spokesman stressed that although all experts believe that COVID-19 originated in nature and was transmitted from animals to humans, Pompeii and the American administration continue to repeat lies about the origin of the virus that caused pandemic.
This is not the first time Pompeo has been disinforming. We all know he's just repeating his lies. But it doesn't matter how many times he repeats them, he can't change the fact that they are lies, and he can't stop the Chinese progress on their way, preserving his features”, the spokesman added.
Zhao Liyan's statements came just two days after the Chinese government released a 24-point report that, according to him, taught that the American government is lying about the origin of COVID-19.
