“The extraordinary situation will be lifted, but all safeguard clauses will continue to be implemented”, Bulgarian Health Minister Kiril Ananiev said.
The epidemic emergency will remain in force until 14 June.
Changes to health legislation, adopted by parliament on Tuesday, will come into force today.
These include preserving physical distance and 14-day quarantine for all who enter the country, both for Bulgarians and foreigners.
