In the presence of a close circle of Kosovo Islamic Community officials, Mufti Naim Ternava has congratulated Muslim believers for the Fiter Bajrami holiday.
As never before for the prayer of Bajram's mosques have been emptied by humans as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The head of the Islamic Community of Kosovo, but political leaders as well, have invited believers and all broad opinions to adhere to the guidelines and recommendations of the National Public Health Institute to protect against pandemic, cancelling family visits as well.
Even traditional receptions at BIK offices have been cancelled this year as a cause of pandemic.
Bajrami is characterised by family visits, but the Islamic Community and health institutions believe that believers will respect their recommendations, and even no additional measures will be taken.
Meanwhile, Turkey has decided from Saturday through Tuesday, when the Bajrami holiday will also end in complete isolation. The same quarantine rate will be implemented in northern Macedonia.
