The man was sent to Peja Hospital, where he found no injuries from the gun. The substance is in regular procedure”, said Fadil Gashi, Police spokesperson in Pec.
At the hospital during his examination it has been found that he is suffering from depression and has been hospitalised in the Psychiatric Department.
“Patient has chronic illness and is a state of depression. He wanted to commit suicide, but he didn't. He just fired a gun into the air like he told us to. Maybe your hands were shaking and it didn't reach. But he was simply depressed because of numerous health problems because of the pain of chronic illness. We've stopped him in the department and we're treating him and we're following him until he stabilizes”, said Muhamet Haliti, chief of the Psychiatry Department at the Pec Hospital.
