Analyst says Kosovo should ask EU for commitment to five non-recognising states

Renowned Kosovo analyst Agon Maliqi through a Facebook status has commented on the request of two foreign affairs ministers from France and Germany for Kosovo to resume dialogue with Serbia. Maliqi considers that Kosovo should neither take the European capital (sic) demand seriously about dialogue if [...]
Maliqi considers that Kosovo should not even take seriously the demand of European capitals (like) in terms of dialogue if it does not in advance set a very significant condition.
That condition, according to Maliqi, should be the commitment of Germany and France to persuade the five states that have not recognised Kosovo to do so, Periscope follows.
“So Kosovo could soon get into the process to enter NATO and there would be no asymmetric treatment from the EU in relation to Serbia.” argues his position Mr. Maliqi.
We remember that President Thaci has refused to resume EU-led dialogue by even countering mediator Miroslav Lajcak, but also High Representative for Foreign Policy Josep Borrell with the reason the two come from states (Slovakia and Spain) that have not recognised Kosovo independence.
Full status:
Kosovo must present Germany and France a condition for continuing dialogue under the EU umbrella: their commitment to recognising Kosovo from the 5 European states that do not recognise us. Thus Kosovo could soon enter the process to enter NATO and there would be no asymmetric treatment from the EU in relation to Serbia. There would be no need to rush by agreement or to compromise paralyzingly. Without this step, any demand coming from European capitals concerning dialogue cannot be taken very seriously.
