Albin Kurti wants Thaci to resign from presidential position

President Hashim Thaci at a news conference held today had also accused Kurti of blocking institutions, saying: No one can carry them with violence.

Kurti at the media conference as he said the institutions are not blocked he demanded that the president resign from his position.

The institutions are not blocked. It's a shame it's not fully competent but it works better than any other. On the other hand, I'm emphasising again that the president is not happy with his seat, so I'd better release him and come to the election campaign and look for the vision I'm going to give and the vote I get. He probably wants to remain as president. We have a frustrated president who, as such, is getting ready for the election campaign, I think it can't be better than resigning and coming to the campaign because he's acting like that, so he's speaking. We have a chair locked up by someone who's not on the task level, so it's off duty. That's not my interest in pandemic time. I don't believe that the Constitutional Court contradicts itself and doesn't allow the president's decrees to be proper author of the constitution. So the president should respect it while the court interprets it. If the constitution remains silent, if there are deserts in the constitution, they cannot correct the president, Kurti concludes./Periscopi/
