The damage caused by agriculture amounts to millions of euros as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, until the Fiscal Emergency Pack from Government, it is presumbled to allocate 3m euros for agriculture, except that this amount is being considered insufficient for farmers who have suffered from the choreographer, has not yet begun to divide for farmers' support.

The chairman of the Agriculture Union Federation, Tahir Tahiri, is saying that the damage to agriculture is significant, as long as it has addressed criticism of municipalities and the Ministry of Agriculture, which are not supporting farmers who are indirectly affected by corruption.

Tahiri, who claims the losses in agriculture amount to millions of euros, says of Kosova Preris, that hundreds of tons of potatoes, seedlings and other agricultural products have been left unsold by agricultural farmers.

I think it's a huge damage that even means to compensate for it. We don't hope and we don't see any chance of 100 percent compensated, even minimum losses directly in the investments that the state has made in those agricultural cultures with compensation... The Ministry of Agriculture has had threem euros available for their exploitation. We as unions have given our stand, where we have said that those three million dollars are directed to the agricultural producers, who have been left without rain because of the pandemic. This had to be done by applying to municipalities, and these municipalities formed commissions to verify the damage, and this job had to be done for a while within a week. While I have information, municipalities nowhere have done it. We have no information about how they're oriented to share that money. I don't have any information about the money, says Tahiri.

While the executive director of the Kosovo Commission Association, Saban Ibrahimi, says of Kosova Prees, that as far as agriculture is concerned, mayors have raised their voices almost a month, and all these concerns of farmers have been prosecuted at the central level.

Ibrahim also says that municipalities at this time are subsidizing damaged farmers as a result of pandemic.

Abraham too considers the damage to farm a great deal.

“As far as supporting local farmers from municipalities, I can find that most municipalities are in this phase by subsidising local farmers in terms of their crops. And we believe that even from the central level such support will happen. Once upon a time as an association, we have no information as to what the central level of support is in this regard. But we have information from the local level that municipalities are subsidizing local farmers. We hope that in terms of the good things that the farmers of the Republic of Kosovo have this year, a solution will be found for their products, because they will have an enormous financial loss of”, Ibrahim claims.

He has recently said that at the last meeting they had with Health and Local Power Minister, one of the main proposals from mayors has been the opening of markets for crackling products.

The heads of the Ministry of Agriculture, however, have not been approved for Kosova Prees for the harm and support of farmers at this time of pandemic. /I. Shaban/
