23 years since Haradinaj's fall

Today, 23 years are filled by the fall of soldier Luan Haradinaj in one of the KLA's first battles against Serb invading forces on May 6, 1997, at the Albanian-Albanian border. The battle with Serb forces, until it was leading a Kosovo Liberation Army expedition on its way to Kosovo, [...]
The battle with Serb forces, while leading a Kosovo Liberation Army expedition on the road to entering Kosovo, took the life of one of the Haradinaj family boys.
On this day, Luan Haradinaj, along with Brother Ramush Haradinaj and the group consisting of Fehmi and Gjeva Ledrovci, Selim Krasniqi and Ramiz Ladrovci, Abbed Reja and Ilaz Kodra, Rafet Rama and Gani Rama, Emrush Xhemajli and Ali Ahmeti left for Kosovo. They had arrived over the village of Larra, a village located near Kushin of Hasi, in a place called “Qafa of Mular”, when the group falls into an ambush of the Yugoslav Army.
Luan Haradinaj is killed in the ambush, Rafet Rama is wounded, as are Ramush Haradinaj and Fehmi Ladrovci. Luan Haradinaj's body fired in Vlana until Kosovo's liberation. After his release, his body was reincarnated to the cemetery of the nation's martyrs in his homeland, in Glodjan, Reka, where he rests, along with the 20 martyrs of his homeland.
Luan Haradinaj was born on November 17th 1973 in Gllojan Reka, Decani, respectively. The primary school was conducted in Irzniq, and the French “Brothers in Decan. After conducting high school, Luan Haradinaj enrolled at the Faculty of Physical Education in Tirana, which he failed to carry out by joining the war for Kosovo's liberation.
