Students Centre Director Fatmir Sfishta has said over the phone to Kosovo Preis that 165 suspected people with COVIDD-19 are currently located at this centre, and that number is expected to increase next week.
“At the moment, in the dormitories of the Students Centre, 165 people are now quarantined, in total, while in the coming week more people from outside Kosovo are expected to come, fellow countrymen who will be stationed at the Students Centre”, Sfishta said.
Sfish pointed out that depending on the time people are quarantined, after 14 days everyone continues with testing procedures and if they result negative, they are released tomorrow.
Depending on what came in 14 days ago, they spent their quarantine time tested enough to get out. For example, there were over 70 people yesterday, no one tested for tomorrow. ...over 950 people have gone through quarantine at the Student Center, where most of them have been negative and released”, Sfisha says.
He says the Students Centre, now back in quarantine, provides the necessary services for all persons.
All services that we as staffed at the student centre have taken over are being carried out in the best possible form, as well as medical teams are in the function of tasks and we are doing our best to serve in the best possible form so that they can pass it by”, Sfish said.
Otherwise, the Students' Centre in Pristina has already passed into direct management of the Ministry of Health until the state of emergency declared by the Government of Kosovo has ceased.
