Wessel wrote that the heroism of Brigade 138 Agim Ramadani, as well as the sacrifice of many freedom fighters in Kostunica, opened the way for Kosovo's liberation and the departure of the Serb conqueror never to return.
“21 years ago began one of the most glorious battles of the Kosovo Liberation Army, the battle of Kosare, which broke down the centuries-old border between Albanians and witnessed our ability to wage frontal warfare worldwide. Brigade Heroism 138 Agim Ramadani, as well as the sacrifice of many freedom fighters in Kostunica, opened the way for Kosovo's liberation and the departure of the Serb conqueror never to return. We today honour with respect and kindness all the martyrs and warriors of Koshara but also the other KLA battles, which made it possible today's freedom and independence days that we enjoy”, Wessel wrote on Facebook.
