Democratic Party of Kosovo Chairman Kadri Veselini today met with Albania's ambassador to Pristina, Kemal Minxhozi, with whom he has talked about the situation created with COVID-19.
In this case, first Kadri Veselini's PDK demanded that the border between Kosovo and Albania be opened so that citizens are free to circulate.
I am in intensive communication with all holders of institutions and political parties in Albania's republic. We are Albanians, the border must be opened for the fact that citizens want to move, as they move to Drenica that we are together should go to Saranda and Durres, borders should be opened and protected by public health through our respective ministries and our national health institutes, this is my request Kosovo must open up from Albania, the conquiries of mass coming from Serbia, which are endangering Kosovo itself as an independent and sovereign state, says Veselin, the KP.
And Albania's Ambassador to Pristina, Kemal Minxhozi, says the border is being discussed at this meeting to establish pledges to open in a quick future.
I had the satisfaction today to wait at the meeting for Prime Minister Wessel, to exchange ideas, a common information regarding the conditions of the coronary in Albania, the steps that have been made and for a further co-operation of the institutions of Albania and Kosovo, to create promise that in a quick future to see the possibility of opening the two-way border for Kosovo citizens to go to Albania, and vice versa, is drawing the sea in this respect and I believe that with this performance so far in the coming months, we have good news<1> says Minzi.
