Senator from Massachusetts came out of the race last month, shortly after being third in voting within the party in her country. She refused to support Mr. Biden or Senator Bernie Saunders, who has progressive ideas.
Sanders, who cancelled his campaign last week, supported former Vice President Biden on Monday.
A day later, former President Barack Obama publicly expressed his support for Mr. Biden.
Mr. Biden has tried to approach his former opponents, embracing some of their political positions. In March, Mr. Biden voiced support for abolishing certain parts of a law that made it more difficult to declare bankruptcy. Mr. Biden and Senator Warren clashed over this matter over 15 years ago when former Senator Biden backed the proposal, and Senator Warren opposed her as a bankruptcy expert and professor at Harvard University.
