Italy's Ambassador to Pristina, Nicolaa Orlando, has welcomed the commitment of Kosovo Health Minister Arben Vitita and his Serbian counterpart, Zlatibor Loncar, to prevent practical co-operation to prevent the spread of corruption.
He in a Facebook post said he appreciates their commitment to cross distances and to concentrate on the health of all citizens as top priorities.
Otherwise, today Italy was the host of a video conference, with KFOR participating, between Kosovo Health Minister Arben Vitita and Serbia's Zlatibor Loncar, focusing on COVID-19's emergency.
In this video conference, both sides exchanged opinions on the situation on the ground and discussed actions to address the pandemic.
The discussion, which was attended by KFOR, also stressed the importance of co-operation in order to effectively contain the spread of COVID-19 to the region.
