Assistants of President Donald Trump are debating several potentially close moves to punish the World Health Organisation in the course of the coronary pandemic, including cutting off US funds and trying to create an alternative institution.
Officials have begun drafting a letter that if the decision is made, the decision will issue a suspension of US funds for WHO and a linked body, the Pan Health American Association, according to a well-known person, quoted Politico.eu. The document also tells State Department officials, the US Agency for International Development and other institutions to try to transfer money to existing alternative organisations.
Trump said on Friday he would talk about WHO next week, hinting that his administration would decide on its funding for the global health body. But he didn't go into detail on Friday, instead started with a lot of complaints about how O. BSH allegedly is very close to Beijing, despite the fact that the US is its largest donor.
