According to official data, requests for marriage have increased to 300 percent, compared with the same period last year, evidence that Chinese youths want to crown love after many days in isolation and loneliness, according to CNN, broadcast KultPlus.
Authorities in Vuhan have been re-opening the municipality for the past week, even returning staff to work, starting with certificates issue workers to those who crown young couples.
On the other hand, experts say, after a long period of isolation, there is likely to be an increase in divorce rates, as cases of domestic violence have been reported worldwide, adding to the demand for divorce.
