Scoczezi Mike Elm and his partner, Rosie Watson, who are traveling from Europe to Asia to raise awareness of climate change, have been blocked in Kosovo for more than a month due to border closure caused by the coronary pandemic.
Elm and Watson are allowed to leave for 90 minutes every day to get essential items in the western town of Prizren, and even their interview with Reuters should be approved by Kosovo authorities.
I'm extremely lucky at the place I ended up, it's a beautiful town,” told Elm Reuters-it is.
He said that he also feels good about being with his wife, and he also feels good about spending time together.
Elm, a 32-year-old from Edinburgh, was scheduled to pedal his bicycle 10,000km from Austria to Mongolia in two years, but has made only 3,000km to Kosovo.
The couple began their journey last year from their homes in northern England. They say they've seen beautiful things in Eastern Europe.
