Thaci writes to Kurt: You didn't send my name, I'll start discussions with other parties.

The country's president, Hashim Thaci, in a letter to incumbent Prime Minister Albin Kurti has indicated he will start consultations with other parliamentary parties to form Kosovo's new government. In this letter, Thaci informs Kurti that since his party (VV) has not submitted the name of [...] prime minister.

Thaci tells Kurt further that he will act on the competencies that are guaranteed.
I need to remind you that, in accordance with the constitutional mandate, it is my responsibility to preserve the stability of the country and guarantee the democratic functioning of the institutions”, it is said further.
Hence, writes Thaci, in accordance with Article 95 of the Constitutional Court and Act on Case No. K01/03/14 will hold joint consultation with all leaders of parliamentary political subjects for further steps.
