Thaci talks about steps that Kurti government collapses

Kosovo President Hashim Thaci said today that he will act in full accordance with the Constitution and Kosovo laws regarding steps to be taken following the collapse of Kurti Government.

He has indicated that Kosovo is in a situation which on one side is marked by the risk added to the pandemic of the COVID-19 virus, and on the other, with the vote of no confidence in the Kurti Government of March 25th 2020.

The “under these circumstances is vital that we consult and act responsibly before citizens”, said President Thaci, who during the day has continued consultations with leaders of political parties represented in the Assembly, to discuss current political developments, but also from the areas of health and security in Kosovo.

He has held a telephone conversation with the AKR chairman and has been hosting separate meetings of Serbian Listrs, the chairman of the Social Democrat Initiative, representatives of non-most communities and the AAK chairman.
