SHIFRAAT: Montenegro with lowest mortality rate from Coronavirus, second Serbia, last Albania

Earlier Thursday, the tenth dead from the new Coronavirus, Covid-19, was confirmed in Kosovo. But how does our country stand in terms of confirmed virus infection and death rates related to our neighbours Serbia, Montenegro, northern Macedonia and Albania? Albania and Kosovo [...]
Albania and Kosovo have in fact been the two countries with the least testing in Balkan countries, and this naturally distorts the level of the affected and potentially the dead.
In Kosovo, until the moment this article is being written, 423 cases of people affected have been confirmed, 10 of whom have died.
The mortality rate in our country is 2,36 percent.
Fewer deaths from the Coronavirus so far are only Montenegro. Only four people so far have died from this infectious disease, while 290 cases have been confirmed. This makes the mortality rate in the smallest Balkan state only 1.37 percent, writes Periscope.
Macedonia has scored 45 deaths from 974 confirmed. The mortality rate is too high, 4.62%.
Albania, meanwhile, has recorded 26 deaths from the Coronavirus in only 518 confirmed cases. The mortality rate in this country is frightening, 5,01% though data can be even more unstable than in other countries.
Serbia, meanwhile, numbers 99 dead and 4873 confirmed cases. This causes the mortality rate in this country to be the second lowest in the region after Montenegro -- 2.03 percent. /Periscope
