Election authorities in Russia have postponed all local and national votes, which were ahead of June 21st, due to the coronary pandemic, the Kosovo Clan broadcasts.
The Central Election Commission said on Friday that all voting will be held after 21 June.
“Taking into account the current situation in the country and due to the safety and health of citizens, we have found that postponing all elections and referenda is necessary until the improvement of the epidemiology situation in the country”, said Central Election Commission Chairman Ella Pamfilova.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed the law allowing the Central Election Commission to change the date of the scheduled vote.
About 100 votes have been seen in Russia by 21 June.
The national vote on constitutional amendments that would open the possibility of Putin's remnant in power for another 16 years has been in store for 22 April.
