Although they were not prevented from entering, citizens who raided Pristina were detained by police officials, who sought identification documents and reasons for the movement.
With the Health Ministry's decision, the capital has been quarantined to prevent spread. But for those of the residents outside Pristina, the mayor of this municipality, Shpend Ahmeti, stressed that they could be returned by 5 o'clock by this day.
The Kosovo/Pres team has been standing on the streets of Pristina today to see more closely the situation, where on Pristina-Mitrovica Street and Pristina-Fusha Kosovo were created long columns.
Without wanting to be promoted to the camera, citizens said they have remained outside Pristina and are now returning to their homes.
In this case, police teams were deployed on all roads and searched all cars entering the capital.
According to the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Commerce these are categories that have the right to move inside and outside quarantine:
Health professionals, health collaborators, barnators, according to custody schedule set by the Ministry of Health, The AKPPM and the Oda of Kosovo Pharmacists, the Religious Community, Horticulture, funerals, the Red Cross. Security As: Police, IPK, Army, AKI, AME, Physical Security Company (private). Aviation: ASNA, AAK, Aeroport, Inspectorate, Central and Local, Correcting Service (Gardian). Public services, cleaning, maintenance, DDD (public and private). K ECK, KEDS, COST, KESCO, Aqua-canalization, Iber-Lepenci, Telekom, Posta, Internet. Media: TV, Radio, Portal. Financial institutions are, Mine, Transport of Officials, Transport of Goods. The administration, the essential Central Administration staff, the essential staff of the Municipal Administration, the Diplomatic Corps. Production companies, transmission and energy distribution: KEK, COSTT, KEDS, and only for special teams for necessary maintenance and intervention. Regional Water Enterprises and only for the necessary maintenance and intervention. Electronic Communications Company: Kosovo Telecom sh.a. and other companies operating in this field and only for special teams for necessary maintenance and intervention. Insurance management companies, cleaning, maintenance, hygiene, and disinfectation of roads, squares, and buildings.
In Pristina so far there are 47 people who have proved positive, of them a dead man from Covid-19.
In contrast, between February 8th and April 11, 2020, a total of 3,006 suspicious samples of the SARS-CoV-2 virus were tested, and of them, positive results in a total of two hundred eighty-three cases of death that have had other accompanying diseases.
