Pristina done with disinfectant tunnel

Pristina municipality in co-operation with local company “At Tree”, it has been inaugurated today, where the Pristina chairman has urged citizens to stay at home despite decisions of restriction.

Shpend Ahmeti said he appreciates that it is best to make a similar decision throughout Kosovo, for limiting the movement, after April 13th when the Constitutional Act comes into force.

He said they are in consultation with mayors throughout Kosovo, and tomorrow he also expects to meet Kosovo Parliament Speaker Vjosa Osmani and incumbent Health Minister Arben Vitita.

I believe that tomorrow we will consult with the health minister, Vitita, to talk about what's the best way, while we have contacted all the mayors of the municipalities to hold a meeting as mayors, because we face each one of us with issues in our municipalities, and we need to co-ordinate as mayor in order to make the same decision for all, it wouldn't be good now for a municipality to make a decision from 5 o'clock out of 7. One of three would be good to coordinate, at this stage we're collecting our suggestions to suggest the central level, whether it goes to the Assembly or it does it to the Ministry of Health to them”, he said.

The capital's first statement was made until it inaugurated the polluting tunnel in the QKMF court in Pristina.

Ahmeti also indicated that tomorrow the Pristina municipality has called meeting of the Municipal Assembly to present the 10-point municipality package for economic measures being taken.

He said they will also present a programme that requires the central level to intervene, which concerns grants for businesses in the municipality of Pristina.

So far in Pristina there are 25 cases infected with Covid-19. /
