President Kurti: Bring the proposal, you can't say you're not refusing unless you get your name.

The country's president, Hashim Thaci, has also sent a letter to Vetevendosje Movement Chairman Albin Kurti, though he is returning the president to the prime minister's quality in office.

In this new letter, President Thaci has announced to Vetevendosje Movement Chairman that failure to refuse on his part implies sending the candidate's name to the prime minister, which he has not yet done, despite the fact that the president has submitted three requests for that purpose.

In line with Article 95 of the Constitution and the Constitutional Court Act in Case No. K01/03/14, President Thaci has once again asked Kurt to submit the candidate/her name for Prime Minister without wasting time.

“against requests submitted on April 2, 2020 (Ref. (Ref. (Ref. 370/1, even on your letter sent on April 17, 2020 (Ref. 122/20), you have not proposed the candidate/en for prime minister, but have stressed that you are not refusing to propose the candidate for prime minister. Let me stress to you that failure to refuse means sending the candidate/her name to the prime minister. But you have not yet done so, despite the fact that I have sent you three requests for this purpose”, wrote President Thaci in his letter.
