A warrant issued today by the Kosovo Police General Directorate forbids its members to post or comment on social networks.
IndexOnline's sources within this institution have said the ordinance was issued by the head of police after there was information that various police officers had commented on social networks for various cases involving the political situation and the pandemic.
With this vote, police leaders want to maintain professionalism, impartiality and neutrality as a professional public institution in service of all citizens.
The ordinance has been sent to all directors, stations and police officials at the country level.
We recall that such an ordinance was issued in the past, where police members were strictly forbidden to post photos on social lines of police uniform. /IndesksOnline/
