Air pollution levels in some of the world's most heavily loaded cities have declined dramatically with reports of empty - road animals.
Photos of some of the world's most popular tourist destinations before and after people entered isolation show that the decline in pollution levels is obvious.
In some countries air pollution has decreased dramatically, in China 25% has decreased, and Sydney in Australia 65%. In 2019 the New York Times discovered that India was home to 14 of the world's 20 most dangerous - aired cities.
But after India's President Ram Nath Kovind ordered over a billion of her people to stay home, the air of New Delhi has been cleared.
A retired professor told the New York Times: “I look at the sky quite often and enjoy its blueness from isolation”.
