The LDK expects President Hashim Thaci to be mandated after this right to consume the Vetevendosje Movement.
LDK Deputy Chairman Lutfi Haziri denies they have compliance with the president on the mandate issue.
Haziri says there will be no room for ministers who have problems with the law in the composition of the new government.
The LDK's “Minists in office, The LDK has sent them full support and we are watching them. The LDK does not trade with Paul Lekay or Jhelal Svecla”, Haziri said.
The Alliance for the Future of Kosovo is eager to co-operate and become part of the government, if the LDK will receive the mandate from the president.
Former Infrastructure Minister, now deputy Paul Lekaj, says he no longer intends to become minister.
And we haven't talked about ministerial positions, nor yet, since no negotiations have begun, since there is no mandate. I don't intend to become a minister. But only if the party offers it to me, because I am satisfied with my position”, Lekaj said.
Vetevendosje MP Victory Pacolli has said that on the basis of the Constitutional Court's conviction, there can be no new Government without the election winner.
According to her, the LDK is co-operating again with PDK and President Thaci.
“The LDK presents itself as coalitioning with AAK and Initiative, but this is just a bridge to go straight PDK. Because when he collaborated with the Vetevendosje Movement we took him away a little bit from the PDK, but maybe that bridge had weakened a little bit, and now we have to strengthen him. After that we know there's President Thaci”, Pacolli said.
For analyst Arton Demhasey, the LDK's stance to co-operate with the AAK and the Initiative is not surprising at all, because it says they have stories of co-operation.
On Tuesday, the LDK has announced that the party's General Council has decided on possible coalition with the AAK, the Social Democrat Initiative and minorities.
