Director of Health and Social Management in the Pec municipality Petrit Loci says how the municipality has taken all necessary measures to prevent corruption from spreading.
Loci for KosovaPress, has indicated that the condition of a patient found at the Infectious Clinic is serious, while the other five people affected by this virus are being treated in their homes.
There are six recorded cases since the beginning of the pandemic, where one of them is lying at the Infectious Clinic at QKU, while another five cases are being handled in their settlements, so home isolation... Health has not been good because of the patient's age and other chronic illness. While the health situation of another 5 persons is stable”, he said.
Loci said they have been tracking all persons who have had contact with the people affected with the COVIDD-19 virus.
This is the protocols that we use on people that are consistent and that are the contacts that we monitor, so first, second and third contacts. As well as conveying all cases that have been assigned to house isolation measures”, Loci said.
As far as supply is concerned with safeguards for health personnel, he said they have enough at the moment. He also expressed satisfaction with the supply they received from the Ministry of Health.
We're doing everything we can to make our staff equipped with protective tools. We are supplied from the supplies we make from the Health Ministry and the personal supplies we provide so that we are complete with protective measures in terms of medical staff”, he said.
Even Naim Sahiti, an information official at Kosovo's regional Peja hospital, said they have enough safeguards for health personnel.
The “is basically supplied with ghitha those tools that the staff needs, of course we have surgical masks, then gloves, surgical materials, we also have uniforms for our personnel that are going to work directly with patients that come in the testing cases. At the moment we can say with full responsibility that we have sufficient protection... we never had a period where we had no protective and disinfectant tools, of course there were moments when the reserves were offered, but there were continuous supplies and at the moment we didn't have”, he said.
Even with regard to the supply of drugs on the essential list, Sahiti says they're fine.
Peja's regional hospital has two respiratories, where one according to Sahiti has been sent to Pristina to the Infectious Clinic.
We have two hospital respirators, one is sent to QKUK at request, one is in us. We also have 60 locks of oxygen for cases that can be treated with oxygen, he said.
In our country so far there are 145 cases of COVID-19, while three people have lost their lives.
