Northern Macedonia, state maturity abolished school year closes 10 June

This school year will not be realised state maturity, school maturity and final exams for three and four-year high schools.

Northern Macedonia Minister of Education Arben Ademi made it known on the “show, heading toward” in Alsat, adding that this will not be an obstacle for seniors to enroll in universities.

According to Ademi, qualifying exams will be organised only for those faculties where high competition exists, compared to the number of countries available for students.

Among the other measures adopted in Government today is the prolonging of deadlines for enrolling students in the first grade. Documents for the census of new initials will not be handed over in May, but in June. Ademi said it has not yet been decided whether the census will take place online or with the delivery of documents to school.

The first-graders' census in elementary schools will occur during June. As the results are released by 15 July.
