Although Muslim believers will not practice the characteristic rituals this month, Sahiti said health is above all and that it should be listened to instructions being given by health officials, Kosovo reports.
“One of the five fundamental conditions of Islam's faith is the fasting of Ramadan. This month includes the importance of lowering the Koran, this very month God has decided to send his last revelation to our prophet Muhammad Mustafa, after whom there will be no prophet. For this reason, the importance of the month of Ramadan fasting is special to all believers”.
I don't think the pandemic changed in the sense of fasting, but as a manifestation of how it was practiced in the past. Because of the appearance of pandemic, we've been forced to make difficult decisions and measures with the sole aim of protecting people's health and spreading to places where people pray, that's the mosque”.
Sahiti in Klan Kosova said the tables have been suspended under the decision that has been taken since the beginning of the pandemic to stop collective forgiveness.
Therefore, we've made a decision to suspend collective forgiveness or jealousy forgiveness for Juma's day and five other times of the day. In these contexts, there are also times of suspension, so all believers are not experiencing the same way we expected to meet our families, friends for if they were or even during the war prayer. Unfortunately, we can't do this”.
It's hard for people to pray to a mat at home, but Muhammad himself has practiced this. Since prayer can be done at home under these circumstances, then it is a good opportunity even to stay home and care for children or older ones because we need more discipline in this pandemic”.
There were times during history when the Temple was closed to visitors, but not to such sizes. Even Ramadan is not remembered to have been kept in these circumstances. But we need to focus on the content of instructions from the IKPSHK, the MSH and other institutions because health is known to be above all”.
“BIK 10 days ago, an action called “Ramadan Sofra” to help families in need. We started with 10 thousand food packages, but this was our goal before Ramadan to deliver these packages, but thanks to God this action was attached to a large number of gooddoers and we've exceeded that number. The food packages began to be distributed since yesterday, but we also made hygienic packages because these days are essential and most necessary. Cleanliness and hygiene are an integral part of faith”.
“We have the organisation “Berecketi” that we have 30 branches in Kosovo and there are a lot of volunteers helping in this action and I believe we will continue this month of Ramadan and we have a moral and religious obligation to help all those in need”.
