“As the number of cases continues to rise worldwide, the work of U NICEF for lifesaving and providing children with health, education, nutrition and protection has never been more crucial. We're fighting a new virus, exposing myths and fighting mismanagement. U n NICEF is working to help prevent the spread of the virus. We are sharing precise information on how to keep families safe, offering medical equipment for health clinics and sanitation for families in need, and reducing the impact of the virus's spread on child access to health, education and social services”, the communiqué says.
Since the beginning of the spread of the virus, the UNICEF Office in Kosovo has linked partnerships with the Kosovo Red Cross and municipal authorities for the distribution of 12,000.00 family hygiene packages for families most in need.
The distribution of the package has been closely co-ordinated with partners to identify and support families living in extreme poverty and in remote areas of Kosovo.
