By Monday, April 13th, the police hour set by the Kosovo government will be removed as a safeguard clause against the COVID-19 virus.
Communists today have held an extraordinary meeting with Health Minister Arben Vitita to be co-ordinated further in the joint battle against the Covet19 pandemic.
The meeting comes after yesterday the Council of Speakers has gathered at a meeting, where nine recommendations for joint commitments in preventing the spread of the coronavirus have been released.
At this meeting with Minister Vitita is set that the time limit of citizens' movement will remain as the Communist Association has requested will be the same for all municipalities from 1700-06.00, besides the municipality of Malisheva and Northern Mitrovica, the news writes.
The time limit could vary depending on changing the situation in municipalities.
It was also decided that municipalities can be quarantined depending on future situations and developments.
Depending on the mayors' demands, it's decided that farmers will be able to work the fields but will be equipped with special permits so they can work outside the restriction.
On the other hand, Minister Vitita praised co-operation with the AKK and said without co-operation with municipalities there will be no desired success.
The Kosovo government had decided since 24 March to ban the circulation of people and vehicles. The ban on the circulation of citizens and vehicles was originally made from 10:00 a.m. to 4: 00 p.m. and from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. And from March 28th, the Government had made a decision to switch curfews, with cases being banned from circulation of citizens and private vehicles at 5: 00 p.m.
The Constitutional Court has considered the Government's decision on limiting the movement illegal, with what cases it has demanded that this decision be implemented by 13 April.
Institutions in the country are obliged to make new decisions on limiting freedom of movement on the basis of the Constitutional Court's interpretation. /Lajmi.net/
