As a result, Rector Dema has contacted by telephone with QS Director General Fatmir Sfishta, where on behalf of students has conveyed concerns about the safety of their belongings, as well as about the possibility of attracting those items, in particular books and other textbooks, from these spaces already converted into quarantine.
“Dema was informed by director Sfish that students' issues are secured, as well as divided according to protocols that allow no student property to be lost. Meanwhile, about the request of Rector Demas to find a way for necessary books and other teaching materials to return to students, Sfisha informed them that this is impossible at this stage, for which the students' understanding is required. In this situation created after the distribution of the COVID-19 pandemic in our country, Rector Dema made sure to offer the support of Pristina University for the staff of the Student Centre, as well as wherever it is necessary, so that the created situation can be overcome with fewer consequences for the country”, the report said.
