Kurti, Kosovo's accredited ambassadors speak of emergency package

The incumbent prime minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, along with incumbent Minister of Finance and Transference Besnik Bislimi, have held three separate meetings yesterday with diplomatic choir ambassadors in the Republic of Kosovo.
Kurti met with ambassadors of QUINT states and chief of the European Union Office in Kosovo, respectively, with Ambassador of the United States of America Philip Costet, Germany's Ambassador Christian Heldt, France's Ambassador Marie-Chrisine Bultel, Grand Britain Ambassador Nicholas Abbott, Italy's Ambassador, Nicolaa Orlando, and the European Union's special representative to Kosovo, Nataliya Apostova.
Later, at a joint meeting, Austria's Ambassador Christoph Weidinger, chief of Belgium's diplomatic office, Jean-Louis Servais, Finland's Ambassador Pia Styernvall, Hola Ambassador Garrie Willems, Norway's Ambassador Jeans Erik Grondah and Switzerland's Ambassador Jean-Hubert Lebets.
Finally, incumbent Prime Minister Kurti and acting minister of the Ministry of Finance and Transfers, Bislimi also hosted Bulgaria's Ambassador Hristo Gudyev, Croatia's ambassador, Danijela Barisiq, Czech Republic Ambassador Pavel Bilek and Turkey's Ambassador Cagrı Sakar.
According to a Government communique, at these three meetings, the incumbent prime minister announced the ambassadors on the situation in the country following the spread of the COVID-19 virus and measures taken so far by the government.
The specific “emphasis was placed on the emergency fiscal package drafted by the government in office. Ambassadors gave their positive assessments of the work of the Government and the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo in the meeting with the COVIDD 19, and at the same time expressed readiness and willingness to help the Republic of Kosovo in any form”, the communiqué said.
The incumbent prime minister, Kurti, expressed thanks and gratitude for the continued assistance the international community is giving Kosovo for managing and overcoming this common challenge.
