Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti has said he is aiming to form a government without the winner of elections and against winners. At a media conference, Kurti has said that the government, headed by Kosovo for the first time, has been independent of the Serbian List and PAN.
Asked by journalists about today's political developments where the LDK has already named a candidate for Kosovo's new prime minister, Kurti has said the assessments for these events will give when they see official documents signed.
Kurti recalled that in 2014 they considered that the parliamentary majority was formed in the Republic Assembly, but that it had overturned a Constitutional Court act, which Kurti said were reconciled.
We were in 2014, but then we were told that we were wrong, that there are relatively many, that the first in the race is a relative majority, we accepted, now we won, and now they say come back in 2014. They changed the rules of the Constitutional Court's bias to our institutional system, and now they're saying let's go back there in 2014, which is double injustice. Even in 2014 we are being wronged and done even today because a government is being targeted not only without the winner but also against the winners and a government that for the first time in independent Kosovo did not depend on either the Serbian List or the PAN. And overcoming the competencies of the president who is wishing to form political will that is not in his mandate, even depending on Serbian Lists and depending on PAN”, Kurti said.
While removing the fences of the Kosovo government building, Kurti said it is a well-thought decision by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and that there is no security shortage.
“Internal Affairs Minister and Public Administration taskman, Mr. Jalal Svechla wrote a request to an Instance at the ministry he leads to remove these sieges that we intend to remove earlier, perhaps were removed late. It has also taken into account the concern that the police may have come from the police for some element of uncertainty, but they are carefully treated, there is additional care and there is no security, and I completely agree that the government court and the citizens' square should not have a pnege between”, Kurti said.
Among other things, Kurti also indicated that he has sent the letter to the Constitutional Court that concerns the Kosovo Parliament's deputies' request to problem once again the Health Ministry measures, which he said are in full accordance with the Constitutional Court's conviction concerning the prevention and fighting of the Codavi-19 pandemic.
